Challenge
Continuous reactors and DCS loops are sensitive to voltage sag below 300 ms. The plant needed 2×1000kW parallel capability with PLC interlocks, corrosion-resistant enclosures near coastal air, and black-start under emergency sequences.
Solution
Parallel 2×1000kW MTU units with common parallel cabinet, ComAp InteliGen sync control, and 10-second load acceptance witnessed with DCS alarms inhibited during transfer tests.
